PEGLEG x OPENING CEREMONY SWEATSUITS

While I am not a huge fan of matching sweatsuits myself, I am a huge supporter of Pegleg and Opening Ceremony, and the prints on these are really nice. For the latest collaboration between the two highly regarded brands, they have come up with these great floral themed colorful sweatsuits. If you are like me, you may just want to stick with a floral print hoodie, but if you are a man made for the full sweatsuit, I don't think you will find a better one on the market.
These items are always quick to fly so be sure to get to Opening Ceremony or the Pegleg Online Shop to pick yours up sooner than later.

MONCLER V COLLECTION

Moncler has been on their collaborating grind as of late. This one with Visvim is particularly exciting, venturing beyond the down jacket they're best known for by adding some easy fall pieces. The deconstructed jacket, henley, and boots leave me wanting more. We'll have to wait and see what else designer Hiroki Nakamura has up his sleeve.

PHILIP TAAFFE AT THE GAGOSIAN

Had a chance to stop by the Philip Taaffe exhibit, Works On Paper. The extraordinary detail that goes into each piece was amazing and the vivid colors speak for themselves. Taaffe has shown his work at the Whitney, MoMA, and Guggenheim to name a few but this is the first showing exclusively of his graphic work. This exhibit is going to be running until Feb 20th, so if you're in the Chelsea area drop in. For more details click HERE.

GRAZ EYEWEAR x MONSTER CHILDREN "OBSTACLE" SUNNIES

Australian based eyewear brand Graz has teamed up with art magazine Monster Children to craft this great new pair of limited edition specs. Graz, formerly a designer for Ksubi, has flown somewhat under the radar with his self entitled line up to this point, but the product is nothing to be ignored.

This great collaboration is an almost completely unbranded melding of a futuristic look with old school class. The unisex sunglasses are all handmade of quality acetate with three color options to choose from.

Check out Eye Goodies to pick up your pair today.

UNDFTD x CONVERSE POORMAN WEAPON GROUP

Another great Converse collaboration is about to drop from the sneaker aficionados at L.A. based Undefeated. The product is a really nice navy rendition of the already popular Poorman Weapon sneak. The shoes are accented to perfection with such small touches as the orange inners and removable velcro label tags.

Included in the group, but sold separately, is a really nice flight jacket, also in the navy colorway. The jacket is of quality construction and materials including some really nice details that make it stand out.

Every shoe purchase also comes with a matching navy tote. These are available starting at 7PM Friday January 29th only at the UNDFTD Silverlake location, but will go on sale online at all stores and online on Saturday, January 30th.

HELP HAITI NOW!!!

This past week, a devastating earthquake struck Haiti to a degree that the country has never faced before. The earthquake, of 7.0 magnitude, struck just outside of Port-au-Prince where millions of people are living already in poor conditions with minimal resources. As a result, the country needs all of the outside help they can get.

The easiest way to help immediately is by texting the word "HAITI" to 90999. Doing so will immediately add a donation of $10 in your name to the American Red Cross Foundation that will go directly to the rescue efforts in Haiti and will be billed to your phone bill. You can also click HERE to donate online to the American Red Cross.

Starting today, Play Clothes will release a signature Jack logo T-shirt designed for the Haiti Relief Effort. The shirt will only be on sale through January 22nd and 100% OF PROCEEDS go to Wyclef Jean's YELE HAITI EATHQUAKE FUND. This is a great option to donate and have a shirt to show your support.

For more donation options, click HERE to see a long list of initiatives taking donations.

Please do anything you can to help as our international support is dearly needed to insure that as few lives as possible are lost in the country.

ART CABS

This month, New Yorkers will be treated to a breath of fresh air as the billboards of cabs around the city will be taken over by art instead of advertisements. Show Media, the company owning the majority of NYC's cab billboards, will be replacing the usual home of forced consumerism with pieces from such renowned artists as Yoko Ono, Alex Katz, and Shirin Neshat.

A real breathe of fresh air, Show owner and art enthusiast John Amato responded to the companies resulting loss of revenue by saying "I thought it was time to take a step back. January's a slow month. I could have cut rates but instead I decided to hit the mute button and give something back to the city." Be sure to take a look and enjoy as it is not going to last...
