Lexie Gehrke is an ex model turned photographer out of LA. She is also an old friend of mine from the archives of my past. Her medium is old, often expired Polaroid film and out of date antique cameras with which she captures great moments of ordinary circumstance. The use of older machinery and film serves to often create beautiful mistakes as they are very temperamental and unpredictable. Her pictures display a scene without the polished finish of any fancy modern cameras which in turn produces a really cool unique look. She is a talented artist and has a lot to offer for the future.
