JRUITER + STUDIO'S MINIMAL CITY BIKE

For their "simplicity in inner city biking" project, Michigan based design firm Jruiter + Studio has taken the idea of a bike for inner city travel down to the bare basics. They have stripped the bike so that it is only what is absolutely essential and uses the least amount of materials possible. The project required rethinking what elements are really needed for a bike. Although not that practical, the bike is a cool project and fosters growth in how we define the modern bicycle.
